How the Bouncehouse360 Trend Desk works

The engine detects candidates automatically. Publication is a separate decision: a report must explain its evidence, limitations, geography, and retrieval date.

Sources

Google Trends: public U.S. trend and related-query signals. Google Trends values are normalized indices, not absolute search volumes. A value of 100 marks the highest relative interest inside the selected comparison and time range.

Bouncehouse360 marketplace searches: aggregated query counts. The detector compares the latest seven days with a four-week weekly baseline. It does not publish visitor identities, addresses, or individual search histories.

Supporting evidence: Search Console, verified local inventory, first-party booking behavior, official event sources, or reputable reporting may confirm a topic. A source must support the exact claim attached to it.

Automated alert thresholds

A strong party-rental phrase in the Google Trends U.S. trending feed enters monitoring.
A marketplace query with at least three recent searches is compared with its prior four-week baseline.
A query rising at least 100% can reach Rising when relevance is high.
A highly relevant query rising at least 200%, or recording at least 12 recent searches, can reach Confirmed.
Low-base and adjacent topics remain Watch until a second signal or sustained pattern appears.

Confidence states

Watch

One relevant but weak or low-base signal. It is stored for review but does not justify a trend claim.

Rising

A relevant query clears a growth or marketplace-demand threshold and is ready for an evidence packet.

Confirmed

The signal is strong, sustained, or supported by a second independent source.

Established

Demand recurs or persists long enough to maintain an evergreen report and annual refresh.

Publication rules

Reports use one canonical URL per topic, show source and retrieval details, disclose small-base uncertainty, include a revision history, and update dateModified only when the report materially changes. The detector does not automatically invent event dates, local availability, prices, safety advice, or legal requirements.
